CCSD May Cut More Teachers

The school district and the teacher's union remain mired in arbitration.  And because of that the school board was forced to come up with a tentative budget.  The worst case scenario means the district could cut close to 1400 teachers and staff.  Has the district done all it can to avoid cutting more teachers?  And is teaching still seen as a desirable career path for people?
