COVID-19 Vaccine Disparity Initiative Introduced In Nevada

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada's governor has introduced a new initiative aimed at addressing disparities in the distribution of coronavirus vaccinations in Clark County.

Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak said Friday that the Equity and Fairness Initiative was created to get vaccines to the communities that need them most including working-class families, low-income households and people of color.

Sisolak said he was alarmed at what he called an equity crisis in the U.S.
