CARSON CITY., Nev. (AP) — Authorities say a man is being treated for hypothermia after being rescued while stranded in snow-covered hills north of Carson City.
Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong says crews located the man Friday following a search that began when the man called 911 for help at about 3 a.m. Search crews from Carson City and Washoe County spent hours looking for the man and eventually located him around 9:30 a.m.
