VP Pence, Harris' Husband Bound For Nevada Thursday

BOULDER CITY, Nev. (AP) — Vice President Mike Pence is holding a rally in southern Nevada at the airport in Boulder City on Thursday, the day after his debate in Utah with Kamala Harris.

Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, plans a northern Nevada appearance Thursday at Washoe County Democratic Party headquarters in Reno.

Boulder City officials say the vice president's event will be held at a privately leased area of the airport and President Donald Trump's campaign has agreed to cap attendance at 250.

That's the current limit on large gatherings imposed by Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak. Boulder City's fire chief says the airport gate will be locked when capacity's reached.
