Hackers Claim To Have Posted Nevada School District Data

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A computer hacker group has claimed it uploaded information stolen from a Nevada school district to a website.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported the Clark County School District data the group claims to have posted online includes information on current and former employees with names and Social Security numbers.

The hacker group, which was not named, claims all data stolen in an Aug. 27 cyberattack on the district has been posted.

The district says it plans to notify affected individuals as an investigation continues. District officials did not answer questions about whether any money was paid to the group.
