Mahogany Fire 95 Percent Contained

Fire crews on Mount Charleston have just about wrapped up the 2,800-acre Mahogany Fire, which was 95 percent contained with just a couple of hot spots left as of Monday morning.

Tuesday the area could see windy conditions.

Meanwhile, fire crews in Las Vegas had a busy Fourth of July, with about 175 callouts.

Some homes were damaged by fire but no major injuries were reported.

Fire officials say that of the cases still under investigation, they suspect they were started by fireworks.
