Clark County Officials Send Letter Of Support For Superintendent Jara

A week after Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and other state officials criticized Jesus Jara, Clark County officials sent the school board a letter supporting the superintendent.

The chair of the Clark County Commission and the mayors of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson signed the message calling for state leaders to “put petty squabbling aside” and “work together” to fight COVID-19.

Jara faces scrutiny and possible corrective action for his approach to a legislative special session bill his critics called "dishonest."
