State Brings In Third-Party To Help With Unemployment Claims

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak announced the state is working with a third-party company to increase the number of workers taking calls for unemployment claims.

The COVID-19 pandemic has put unprecedented numbers of Nevadans out of work since the governor ordered the closure of all nonessential businesses, including casinos.

The call center vendor will bring in 100 full-time employees to address a record high number of unemployment insurance claims.
