St. George Reopens Some Recreational Facilities

The city of St. George announced all city-owned pickleball, tennis and sand volleyball courts will be reopened Tuesday, The St. George News reports.

The reopening follows discussions with members of city government, community members, and local and state medical experts, Leisure Services Director Shane McAffee said.

He added that it just felt like the right time.

There will be signage reminding people of social distancing norms and play protocol. The announcement comes 10 days after the city said they would reopen several parks, with six-foot social distancing in place
