Casinos See 39 Percent Plunge In Gaming Win

The gaming win numbers show what most people expected a massive decrease compared to the same time last year.

The Gaming Control Board released numbers Wednesday that showed casinos in Nevada reported a 39.6% drop in winnings from gamblers. The casinos won $618.1 million from gamblers, compared with more than $1 billion in March of 2019.

The Las Vegas Strip saw an even bigger dip. Casinos there report a 45.7 percent drop in winnings.
