An administrator at Tulane University School of Medicine has been named as the new dean of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Medicine.
UNLV President Marta Meana announced Wednesday that Dr. Marc J. Kahn will take his new post April 1.
Kahn will follow Dr. John Fildes, who temporarily succeeded the medical school founding dean, Barbara Atkinson, in September.
UNLV School of Medicine began in July 2017 and now totals 180 medical students and more than 300 residents and fellows.
