FAA Investigating Cash Drop At Las Vegas Lights Game

A cash drop during halftime of the Las Vegas Lights soccer team’s September 7 home game is now the center of a Federal Aviation Administration investigation to determine whether the pilot endangered people.

A spokesman for the FAA’s Pacific Division said the agency began an investigation after it received a video of the flight.

Representatives from Skyline Helicopter Tours did not respond to requests for comment, but Las Vegas Lights owner Brett Lashbrook said he fully supports the promotion and how it worked.
