Sen. Rosen Visits Health Center In Reno/Sparks To Discuss Possible Changes To ACA

U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen visited the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony’s Tribal Health Center Tuesday, where she met with staff to discuss the Affordable Care Act.

Rosen said the ACA is especially important for Nevadans in rural and tribal communities who would otherwise have to travel long distances to receive care and treatment.

Rosen and several of her Democratic colleagues sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services Tuesday opposing rollbacks of the ACA’s protections against discriminatory practices.
