McManus Defeats Woodbury In Boulder City Mayoral Race

The results are in for Tuesday’s municipal elections in Clark County.

Boulder City elected Kiernan McManus mayor over incumbent Rod Woodbury. McManus won by almost ten percent of the vote.

James Adams and Claudia Bridges took the two city council seats up for grabs. The two ballot questions authorizing funding of recreation facilities, including an aquatic center, were both voted down.

Voters also rejected an advisory question about allowing off-highway vehicles on city streets.

They approved a question authorizing the city to refinance its debt.
