Gov. Sisolak Signs Bills Addressing Collective Bargaining, Affordable Housing

Governor Steve Sisolak signed another set of bills passed during the legislative session that wrapped up a few days ago.

One bill empowers state workers to collectively bargain for the first time in Nevada history and another raises the minimum wage to $12 an hour by 2024.

Two other bills signed by the governor hopes to address the state's affordable housing issues. SB448 authorizes up to $10 million per year in tax credits for developers who build affordable housing.

The governor also signed a bill that expands federal funding the state gets to help people in need find affordable housing.
