Slight Increase In Registered Voters In Nevada In April

CARSON CITY (AP) — The number of registered voters in Nevada grew slightly in April.

 

Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske's office on Wednesday announced it recorded about 9,400 more voters last month, bringing the total number of active registered voters to 1,543,822.

Democrats make up 38% of those voters. Republicans comprise 34% and nonpartisan voters are 22%.

 

About 4 percent of Nevada voters are members of the Independent American Party and 1 percent are registered Libertarians.
