Sisolak Signs Joint Statement On DACA, TPS Protections

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak joined a group of state and local officials in signing a statement urging Congress to pass permanent protections and a path to citizenship for DACA and Temporary Protected Status holders.

The action is in response to the Trump administration’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and Temporary Protected Status programs,

Sisolak said Nevada embraces immigrants’ economic and cultural contributions to the state.
