Clown Motel Featured In Straight-to-DVD Movie

Tonopah’s Clown Motel is the featured site in a new movie set for release on DVD next week.

The Pahrump Valley Times reports that “Clown Motel: Spirits Arise” tells the story of a group of ghost hunters seeking to find out whether it’s abandoned and haunted.

Along the way, they run into a group of women returning from a Las Vegas bachelorette party, as well as a number of angry clown spirits, who rise from the nearby cemetery and come after the partygoers.

Sink your teeth into our annual collection of dining — and drinking — stories, including a tally of Sin City's Tiki bars, why good bread is having a moment, and how one award-winning chef is serving up Caribbean history lessons through steak. Plus, discover how Las Vegas is a sports town, in more ways than one. Bon appétit!
