After Several Hours, Police, Animal Control Corral Loose Bull

Las Vegas Metro police and animal control captured a bull that was loose Tuesday morning.

It roamed through central Las Vegas for several hours. The bull was seen around 3 a.m. at Turquoise Road and Silver Lake Drive.

Metropolitan Police Lt. Carlos Hand said the animal was corralled at a home near Washington Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard around 7 a.m.

Metro tracked the bull with a helicopter and patrol units blocked traffic while the bull was tranquilized and corralled.

It isn’t clear who owns the bull at this time, police are still searching for the owner based on markings on the animal.

Animal Control teams are taking the bull to a livestock veterinarian and then temporary housing at Horseman's Park until the owner can be found.
