Two Defendants In Bundy Trial Take Plea Deals

Two defendants who were part of a standoff near Cliven Bundy’s ranch in 2014 accepted plea deals today, and will likely avoid further jail time.

Eric Parker and Scott Drexler each pleaded guilty to a single count of obstruction of a court order for their roles in the standoff.

Both had been facing several felonies that carried prison sentences, including assaulting and threatening a federal officer.
