Philanthropist Susie Lee Announces Plans To Run For Congress

Las Vegas Democrat Susie Lee has announced she will run again for Congress in 2018. Lee is known for her education advocacy and philanthropic work, and she will seek the 3 rd Congressional District seat currently held by Democratic Representative Jacky Rosen.

The seat will be vacated since Rosen announced she’s running for U.S. Senate. Lee was a CD4 candidate in 2016, and faced a tough Democratic primary with Ruben Kihuen and Lucy Flores.

CD3 spans much of southern and western Clark County and includes Henderson and Boulder City, and only has about a 10,000-Democratic voter edge.
