McDonald's Announces Plans To Hire Hundreds In Las Vegas

Fast-food giant McDonald’s announced it will be hiring more than 1,300 people in the Las Vegas area, part of a greater hiring surge in the Western states.

Owners and operators of the valley’s 100 restaurants are looking for shift managers, maintenance workers, and other various positions. Operators in Utah, Arizona, and parts of Wyoming, California and New Mexico are also part of the hiring surge.

In March, a local McDonalds became the first in Nevada to receive touch screen kiosks for customers. The Illinois-based company said they will do another hiring push later this year.

How is Las Vegas' healthcare system really doing, and what does it mean for you and your family? Desert Companion's Health Issue takes a deep dive into these questions and explores how heart-centered business leaders prove that doing good benefits the bottom line.
