Vote On Stadium Lease Agreement Expected Thursday

Representatives of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority and the Oakland Raiders concluded lease negotiations Tuesday for the team’s move to Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

A vote is expected Thursday on the lease agreement. The agreement decision is ahead of the NFL owners’ meetings next week in Chicago.

A spokesperson said the final details of the deal include the addition of terms from Clark County, the NFL and other sources.

The Raiders are financing their part of the cost for the 65,000-seat, almost-$2-billion stadium planned for construction at Russell Road and Interstate 15 through Bank of America.
