Nevada Highway Patrol troopers have arrested two out-of-state men they say had more than 200 pounds of marijuana in their vehicle.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports that Lt. James Simpson says a trooper stopped a car for speeding on Interstate 80 and could smell marijuana as he approached the vehicle.

He searched the vehicle and found 201.5 pounds of marijuana in five cases along with a large amount of cash.

He arrested the driver, a 32-year-old from Virginia, and his passenger, a 34-year-old from Tennessee. Both men are facing charges related to selling and trafficking marijuana.
