Gov. Sandoval Signs Bills Covering Vaping, Hemp, More

CARSON CITY (AP) — Gov. Brian Sandoval is continuing his bill-signing blitz, including measures on vaping and industrial hemp farming.

The Republican governor signed two dozen bills on Thursday. He has 10 days from the end of the legislative session to sign or veto measures.

Sandoval signed SB229, which allows for specialty license plates touting the 2nd Amendment.

He approved SB255, which bars businesses from selling vapor and alternative nicotine products to children under the age of 18.

He also signed SB305, which allows a college or the Nevada Department of Agriculture to grow industrial hemp for research purposes.
