UNLV Powwow for the Planet
Native UNLV and the Las Vegas Indigenous community team up for the two-day event, which will have traditional powwow dancing, drumming, authentic Native arts and craft vendors and food vendors. It aims to champion cultural preservation and leadership development among Native youth, advocacy for environmental justice, and the protection of Indigenous sacred places in Nevada.
