This two-weekend stint is not Nevada Ballet Theatre’s first rodeo with the canonical 19th-cen- tury tragedy. Audiences regaled the goose-pimpling Tchaikovsky score and Ben Stevenson’s elegant choreography back in 2019, and for those who missed — or savored — it then: You’ll get a second chance this spring to revel in Prince Siegfried’s quest to break the spell that afflicts his prospective true love, the swan/human Odette. Will he be successful? Or, put another way, will this edition be loyal to the original ballet — or will it adopt the “happy ending” version? Only one way to find out.
