Looking for a new best friend? At this two day event all pets -- young and old, big and small -- will have their adoption fees waived thanks to a generous sponsor. A $10 pet license fee might apply, though. Check their website to see who is available and get there early if you think you have found a match. Doors open at 11, but there are often people waiting in line. Pets will be vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered, in most cases.

Note: Not sure how many kittens will be available to adopt, but there should be plenty available to foster. (And foster parents get the chance to adopt.) Go to "Volunteer" on the home page and click on "Foster Search."
