Sagebrush to Sandstone: Paper Bird Workshop
This hands-on art workshop will let you try your hand(s) at several folded paper bird patterns: cutting, folding, and coloring and with some design options. Nevada is part of the Pacific Flyway, which is used by many migratory bird species and of course we have our own native species.
Instructor/helper Bobbie Ann Howell is a visual artist from Nevada who has taught sculpture, foundry, drawing, life drawing, two- and three-dimensional design, and printmaking. Her art is in public and private collections and can be seen in regional and national exhibitions.
Free, but reservations required.
