Friends of Red Rock Canyon and the Bureau of Land Management welcome Vanessa Maciel as the Spring 2026 Artist-in-Residence at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. She will hold one more Artist-in-Residence workshop, where she hopes participants will become co-creators and not just spectators. The goal is to strengthen cultural pride, encourage inter-generational exchange, and create art accessible to audiences who may not traditionally engage with galleries or museums.

It will be March 21 from 10 am to noon. Registration is required. On April 21 from noon to 1:00, art by the workshop participants will be displayed along with work by Ms. Maciel.
