The Animal Foundation has been waiving adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats during August. They are wrapping up Clear the Shelters by waiving the fees for puppies and kittens, as well. And, for non-dogs and non-cats. Most of the pets will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Adopters will go through the regular adoption process.

On Saturday, there will also be local vendors, family-friendly activities, and community partners on site. You can test-drive a Lincoln and they will donate $50 to TAF. Reservations suggested (at Get Tickets).

Clear the Shelters is NBCUniversal Local’s nationwide pet adoption campaign presented by Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Over more than a decade, this annual initiative has helped connect more than 1.3 million pets with loving families across the country.
