The International Opera Institute will present an abridged concert version of one of Puccini's most popular operas, with voices from The Metropolitan Opera, the Los Angeles Opera, and New York's Chautauqua Opera Company. It's a story of love, betrayal, and heartbreak, set in Japan and centering on an American Naval Officer and a young geisha.
