Literary Walk: Seeds Yet Ever Secret

Literary Walk: Seeds Yet Ever Secret

It's National Poetry Day, in this case with some art thrown in. You are invited to explore the visual and literary works of Rita Deanin Abbey with UNLV Master of Fine Arts candidate JM Huck. who will highlight some of Abbey's nature-themed poetry, including work inspired by one of her cherished locations, Corn Creek, part of the the Desert National Wildlife Refuge. And, you'll get to read some poetry, too.

The Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum is dedicated to the wide-ranging works of Rita Deanin Abbey, including abstract expressionist paintings, figure drawings, monumental sculptures and beyond. The museum property also features a courtyard, desert garden, outdoor sculpture garden and Abbey’s studio.
