North America homes over 6 million Native Americans- including Indigenous chef Crystal Wahpepah. Coming to Las Vegas this summer, Crystal invites those across the valley to watch her prepare traditional Native foods. Crystal is a member of the Kickapoo Nation of Oklahoma and the owner of her restaurant, Wahpepah's Kitchen, in Oakland, California. She has competed on your favorite food shows like Beating Bobby Flay and was even the first Indigenous chef to compete on Food Network's Chopped. Crystal is only one of the various speakers of the Springs Preserve's Nuwu Pahsats series. Indigenous Knowledge Givers can share their culture with Southern Nevada through the series. Seating for this event is limited and reservations are required.
