Dual Lens: Art and Science in Dialogue

Dual Lens: Art and Science in Dialogue
The intersection of art and science is the theme as the speakers examine how creativity and curiosity transcend disciplines. It features artists who draw inspiration from scientific inquiry and scientists who incorporate artistic practices into their work.
The DRI Storyteller is Tiffany Pereira, an ecologist and scientific illustrator specializing in the flora and fauna of the desert southwest.
One featured speaker is Jessica Oreck, owner and curator of the Office of Collection & Design, a museum devoted to the minuscule, the forgotten, and the discarded. Think of it as a giant art installation.
The second is CoCo Jenkins, a Manila-born and Vegas-raised multi-instrumentalist, producer, DJ, and looper. As a looper, she blends her classical training and beat-making skills to create psychedelic, genre-bending compositions.
