This presentation by Paula Jacoby-Garrett will explore the history of the historic Walking Box Ranch and its connection to the lands that now comprise Avi Kwa Ame National Monument. Drawing on her years of involvement with the Walking Box Ranch project, she will discuss preservation efforts, oral histories, historic artifacts, and the site's ongoing significance to Southern Nevada.
Paula Jacoby-Garrett is the administrative director of The Friends of Avi Kwa Ame National Monument.
