Experience the holidays like never before with the Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum’s annual tradition, A December to Remember. This year’s exhibition explores a powerful idea: culture and science are deeply intertwined – the food we make, the songs we sing, the decorations we choose, and the ways we adapt to winter all have scientific foundations.

This museum-curated, community-created exhibition features original artwork from local artists of all ages, cultural workshops, and weekend science exploration experiences, connecting cherished holiday traditions to the biology, chemistry, and physics hiding inside them. Come discover the real stories, traditions, and voices that make our Southern Nevada community so beautifully diverse.

The museum is looking for 2D and 3D artwork from the community inspired by how people seek light, warmth, and connection across cultures. Submissions can be made through November 13. Find out more at Get Tickets.
