Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) will host its 36th Annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas on Sunday, April 26, at a new location, Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. The event is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser supporting HIV prevention and client services across Southern Nevada.

The morning begins with a community festival and resource fair at 9 a.m., followed by the walk at 10 a.m. Walkers, entertainers, and businesses will gather to raise awareness and critical funding for individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

As AFAN continues its mission to meet clients where they are, this year’s move to North Las Vegas reflects a commitment to expanding awareness and access in communities disproportionately impacted by HIV. The Craig Ranch Regional Park location sits within and near zip codes that experience higher rates of new and total HIV cases.
