Superstar Rihanna performs a hit-filled 19 song extravaganza in India

MICHEL MARTIN, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Michel Martin. If you've wondered if Rihanna will ever do a concert again, worry no more, although we weren't invited. The superstar performed a 19-song extravaganza in India as part of the wedding celebrations for Anat Ambani, Ambani, the son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani. The Ambanis previously made headlines when Beyonce performed as part of a daughter's wedding celebrations in 2018. Reports say Riri's performance shined like a diamond and so did her pay - an icy $6 million. It's MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
