Downtown building that could have been boring given award for not being boring

MEET Las Vegas -- a handsome old office building repurposed as a boutique convention spot -- snagged a nice little award from the frenetic-sounding BizBash West Event Style Awards for Best New Venue.

This three-story, 30,000-square-foot venue with an outdoor pavilion holds 2,000 people. It has customizable interior and exterior lighting, and multiple entry points for loading in and out. Walls and floors are a blank canvas that clients can easily and quickly customize. There are multiple rigging points, as well as digital signage displays and exterior banners.

Is anyone actually using the space? Hm. BTW, The Cosmopolitan also snagged an award for best invitation.
