You Kissed Him Where? Romantic Kissing Is Rarer Than You Think

A surprising study shows that many cultures don't participate in romantic kissing.

Think you know a potential mate by the way they kiss?

Beyond the movie screen, here in Las Vegas you’ll find newly-mets – those who meet by chance on a weekend sojourn – kissing on club floors, in bars, casino pools. Everywhere.

But if you’re one of those aiming a kiss at a newly-met, you might think twice: Las Vegas attracts tourists from around the world and the romantic kiss is not universally accepted.

At least that’s the finding of UNLV anthropology professor William Jankowiak who has published a report on the romantic kiss in  American Anthropologist.

His findings may surprise you.
