Author Vu Tran

Cop drives into Vegas, hunting down his ex-wife, who's now married to a Vietnamese crime boss. New movie? Nope, it's the plot for Vu Tran's novel. The UNLV writing fellow talks about his latest projects. He takes an introspective look at being a Vietnamese immigrant, and how it influences his writing. And he tells us what he really thinks about the local Chinatown.

Vu Tran will be speaking with UNLV writing fellow, Maile Chapman, on Thursday, April 15 at 7 p.m. at UNLV's Barrick Museum Auditorium. This is a Black Mountain Institute event, in partnership with UNLV's Department of English.

Guest:
Vu Tran, Schaeffer Writing Fellow, UNLV
