Suzanne Bona is the host and executive producer of  Sunday Baroque, a syndicated weekly radio show of Baroque and early music.  She originated the program in 1987 on WSHU Public Radio in her hometown of Fairfield, CT.   Sunday Baroque has been distributed nationally since 1998, and is currently heard by more than a quarter million listeners every week on more than 160 public radio stations and networks across the United States.  Suzanne is also a classically trained flutist who continues to perform frequently as a soloist and chamber musician.  Her hobbies and passions also include reading, running, cooking, and baking.

Sunday Baroque is a weekly radio showcase of music written in the baroque era (1600-1750) and the years leading up to it. It mixes performances on both period and modern instruments, familiar and less well known composers, and performers ranging from well-established favorites to exciting newcomers.

Host Suzanne Bona shares tidbits about the music, composers, and performers – just enough to get your attention, because the music mostly speaks for itself. Whether you’re a baroque aficiando or a more casual listener looking for some Sunday morning relaxation, you'll feel refreshed and inspired by the sparkling musical selections on  Sunday Baroque.
