Governor-elect Joe Lombardo on Wednesday announced his transition team and working committees ahead of taking office in January.
Ryan Erwin, the founder of RedRock Strategies, was named chair of the transition team.
In a pre-written statement to media, Lombardo said with Erwin's "steadfast leadership and integrity," he's confident he'll "do an exceptional job as we work to prepare our incoming team for success."
He went on to say the team is made of "trusted experts in their fields."
Erwin, in the statement, said the team is ready to "ensure an efficient and effective transition for the Lombardo administration."
The team consists of members of government, business leaders and community members.

- Ben Kieckhefer, Nevada Gaming commissioner and former Nevada state senator
- Pauline Lee, attorney and Keystone Corporation board member
- Dwayne McClinton, governor affairs director at Southwest Gas
- Tina Quigley, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance
- Ann Silver, CEO of the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce
According to the media release, Lombardo’s working committees for the transition team will include: agriculture, ranching and mining; economic and workforce development; education; energy, land and wildlife; general policy; government reform; healthcare; public safety, corrections and law enforcement; real estate, housing and construction; gaming and tourism; and water.
Additional plans are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
