1 Person Dead, 2 Hospitalized After North Las Vegas Shooting

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say one person is dead and two others hospitalized after a shooting in North Las Vegas. Officers were called out after a report of a shooting around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

North Las Vegas police say investigators believe two men ran up to a group of people and started shooting. The motive for the shooting remains unclear, however.

Police say the three victims were all in their late 20s or early 30s and were taken to University Medical Center. They say one of them was a man and he died hours later. The name of the man hasn't been released yet.
