Nevada Higher-Ed To Continue Pass/Fail Grading Structure

Colleges in the Nevada System of Higher Education will continue to use a pass/fail, or satisfactory/unsatisfactory system for grading throughout the current academic year.

The decision was announced by NSHE officials on Wednesday, according to a report in thisisreno.com. The site also reported the presidents of all of the state’s eight higher education institutions agreed to the grading structure.

The grading decision comes after the NSHE Board of Regents heard more than an hour and a half of public comment — much of it from students concerned with their grades — during its meeting on November 13.
