Latino Group Holds Protest Against Racism

The Latino advocacy group Make the Road Nevada held small, peaceful protests in the Las Vegas Valley Monday.

The protesters condemned racism and asked for support for the Latino community as Nevada reopens, KLAS-TV reports.

The group wants the state to extend its moratorium on evictions to cover immigrants. Organizers say some people have been harassed because they are immigrants and they fear losing their homes.
