Plans are underway to use the Reno-Sparks Convention Center as a makeshift hospital to treat COVID-19 patients.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports the alternate care facility is expected to have as many as 700 beds.
Washoe County officials say the site could be ready with 500 of those beds as soon as a week from now. Coronavirus cases have now exceeded three-thousand in Nevada, including at least 120 deaths.
