Because of COVID-19, the National Park Service announced the closure of Great Basin National Park in east-central Nevada near the Utah border.
The move comes in response to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state and local public health authorities.
Officials say the health and safety of visitors, employees, volunteers, and partners are the number one priorities.
