The state Department of Veterans announced eight employees at the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Six residents previously tested positive and one died in late March after being admitted to a hospital. The results were announced late Friday, after testing was completed of all 234 employees.
Those who tested positive were already at home or were immediately directed to self-isolate for two weeks.
